Climate Resilience at PG&E
PG&E is committed to building a climate-resilient energy system, especially as California faces increasingly severe climate-driven hazards such as wildfires, extreme heat, flooding, and sea-level rise. Through its Climate Adaptation and Vulnerability Assessment (CAVA) and Resilient Together Initiative, PG&E is identifying long-term risks to its infrastructure, operations, and the climate-vulnerable communities it serves. These efforts inform near-term adaptation strategies and long term infrastructure updates that support the delivery of safe, reliable, and clean energy, while strengthening community resilience in the face of a changing climate.
